The Village Temple Religious School Faculty for 2017-2018

The Village Temple, a dynamic and inclusive Downtown Reform congregation seeks Religious School teachers for the 2017-2018 school year. Highly competitive pay is offered to qualified candidates!

Our innovative, camp inspired curriculum and programs empower our students to understand and take pride in the history and sacred texts of the Jews as a people and as a religious community. The students learn to participate with confidence in Shabbat and holiday services, possessing sufficient knowledge of Hebrew for the prayers to be meaningful. Our learners put the ethical principles of Judaism into practice in the context of family, congregation and wider community through acts of Tikkun Olam. They develop a personal connection with the State of Israel, its peoples and land.
