Center on Law and Security (NYU Law) SUMMER/FALL 2016 RESEARCH ASSISTANTS (2/23/2016)

The Center on Law and Security (CLS) is seeking NYU undergraduate students to serve as research assistants during the summer and fall of 2016. The research assistants will support the Executive Director, Director of Operations, Program Associate, and the Center’s fellows in all aspects of the Center’s mission, including research, program organization and development, and administrative duties. Summer research assistants will be expected to commit approximately 30 hours per week, and fall research assistants will be expected to commit approximately 10-12 hours per week. The position is compensated at a rate of $10/hour.

The research assistants will become involved with the Center’s ongoing programs, which focus on cybersecurity, intelligence oversight, financial sanctions & economic statecraft, public-private partnerships in national security, and the relationship between national security law and national security strategy. In each program area, the Center is working on a range of publications, conferences, and events ranging from private and public briefings to panel discussions with noted government and academic experts.
